8x355mL Packaging Design (Using Existing Brand Elements)

As the lead designer, I worked with Steamworks Brewing to conceptualize a more captivating package design for one of their best-selling beers in the lineup. Utilizing some of the brand’s existing design elements, the layout was inspired by the view of Vancouver’s North Shore while highlighting the city’s skyline, mountains, and the iconic SeaBus. One of the main challenges of designing this package product was keeping the yellow brand colour consistent to the previous design so it could still appear recognizable without the thought of it being a launched as a new brand. The additional use of gradients and hazy lines in the background add more depth to the design but also keeping the company’s branding image and identity intact.
