Gummy Sour - Raspberry Tangerine

Custom Brand Design

As the lead designer for this project, I was given a task to design a new brand for a sour beer that resembles candy - hence the name Gummy Sour. My design brief primarily focused on the essence and design of candy packages. Various candy packaging heavily involve a plethora of visually striking but balanced colours with such great contrast. This therefore became my main visual focus for the scope of the project. I picked a light off-white colour as my main background and used a distinguishable pink colour that uses a plastic wrap effect to elevate the brand name. In addition, I added the paint splatter underneath the Gummy Sour name to add some more colour and contrast with the main background. All of these combined give a visually striking design that can attract any candy lovers to the brand.
